MUSIC PROGRAMS For Seniors

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT

Choose from a variety of music genres like Broadway, Jazz, Patriotic, Ethnic music and many more. You can choose entertainers such as Piano players/singers, Guitar players/singers, Opera singers, Jazz singers and Woodwind and String players.

Percussion Circles

This program has been highly successful with individuals with a Dementia diagonsis, as well as Assisted and Independent Living Residents. Using music from the 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's, residents perform rhythm patterns using a variety of hand held percussion instruments including shakers, maracas, triangles, hand drums and more. Residents do more than keep a steady beat to music; they are cognitively engaged, performing accompaniments for the songs. 

SENIOR CHORUS

Arrangements are created to accommodate the skill level of the residents. Residents will be taught basic breathing and singing techniques. Residents will have the opportunity to choose the music that they are interested in learning and perform in front of the residential community.

DJ Services / Music Appreciation

Our DJ’s take requests and interact with the residents encouraging them to sing and move to the music. We also offer music appreciation seminars, which can be customized upon request. Activity Directors choose from a variety of music education topics such as The Life of Elvis Presley, The Origin of Blues, etc.
